Who are we?

 

Based in Northern Ireland, between Newry and Newcastle, we currently travel extensively throughout the UK and Ireland conducting building surveys, site Health and Safety Audits, giving Health and Safety advice, supervising, reviewing and rewriting RAMS for Small to Medium Enterprise (SME's) companies mainly in the Construction, Manufacturing and Agricultural sectors.

 

Homestead Health & Safety are a new start-up organisation that evolved from Homestead Boiler Services, who are a Plumbing and Heating company that have been installing and servicing oil and Gas fired boilers in Northern Ireland for almost 30 years. The Principal person in the organisation is Charles Curran who has been a Plumbing and Heating Engineer working on construction sites all his working life. During this time they have had a long association and respect for Health and Safety.

 

With this subject not far from our minds, when the opportunity to practice in this field presented itself, it felt like a natural progression.

 

Charles is currently working freelance in throughout UK and Ireland, has the following relevant qualifications;

NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Safety (Construction)

Certificate of Scaffold Inspection

GasSafe registered until 2027

OFTEC registered, renewed annually.
